There are plenty of reasons to buy a Roomba. Buy it because you want to bring the day of the proper robot butler a bit closer; buy it because you like neat gadgets; buy it because you'd like to own a nice piece of animatronic artwork, which is elegant and fun to watch. Even if you live in a single-level house with smooth floors and no obstacles, though, £250 is a lot to pay for a distinctly lackadaisical cleaning robot which will still need frequent help from you. Like its predecessors, the Roomba employs sensors to automatically maneuver around carpeted and bare floors, using brushes and vacuum suction to pick up dust, dirt, pet hair and more. The new iRobot Roomba 560 multi-room vacuum is a huge improvement compared to the two previous iRobot series. I love this device. I followed the easy voice commands and instructions and WOW. I will say the idea of Roomba is great. The implementation of the idea is poor. The product simply does not work as advertised. It does a really poor job of cleaning the floor. It consistently leaves debris on the floor. I do not have pets thererfore I am not talking about large amounts of hair. The robot continually cannot find the home base and dies somewhere in the room. Jag rekommenderar absolut denna produkt. Det som man bör tänka på är att man behöver ha rätt stora, lättstädade ytor. Alltså inte massa krimskrams på golvet. Den dammsuger inte heller under soffan och dylikt. Vi har vår dammsugare på undervåningen, där vi har hallen. Den glömdes lätt bort förut. På övervåningen har man ju mer grejer, så det hade varit bökigare att alltid ha tip top plockat där. Läs mer

Har haft den 1 vecka och hemmet är renare än någonsin. Den hittar damm som man inte ser med det mänskliga ögat och den kommer under fåtöljer och stolar som är väldigt besvärligt med en vanlig dammsugare. Det är ett nöje att tömma behållaren varje gång Roomba är färdig. Enda minuset är att den har lite problem med några av mina mattor, men mattorna får man flytta på när det är storstädning. Jag ska nog fixa nya mattor som den kan gå på. Läs mer

My roomba -- I call him "Xavier" was initially troublesome. He would enter what some of the roomba forums call "the spins". After installing the optional high capacity dustbin, and a brush resistant to hair tangling, he ran as advertised. So be sure to purchase those upgrades and you will be fine. - Just like every vacuum I have owned you have to empty it when it gets full. It refuses to do the stairs, I understand I hate doing them too. :^(
