    Canon's newest 1D model has no pretenses about being anything other than the high performance leader of the Canon DSLR fleet. You can pay more for the 1Ds Mark III, but not shoot nearly as fast, and with not all that much more resolution than the Mark IV.     The 1D Mk IV is one of the best DSLRs ever produced. As to whether it is better or worse than Nikon's D3s is too close to call without direct comparison testing between the two. It's fair to say, though, that both have their benefits and faults and on comparing their ISO performances on our colour chart, the 1D Mk IV doesn't control noise as well above 12,800 but it does have other strengths.     Canon EOS 1D Mark IV 16 Megapixels The 16MP, $4,800 Canon EOS1D Mark IV is the first and only APS-sensor camera to claim a maximum ISO of 102,400, and has a recommended top ISO of 1320. It has a signal to noise ratio of 41.4 dB at ISO 100, and doesn't dip below 30 dB until after ISO 1600. Digital noise is effectively suppressed up to ISO 1600, although overall image quality deteriorates rapidly by the time you reach ISO 12,800. Still, an amazing performance.     En imponerande allroundkamera på många sätt, den är otroligt skön att jobba med, den ger mycket bra bilder med ett brett ISO omfång (50-102400) och till en hastighet på 10 bilder/sek, det räcker långt. Toppklass som jag absolut kan rekommendera. Läs mer

    Just wondering how come some idiots they don't even touch this camera and than just left some bull shit and rating this camera one star. Too expensive.... not worth 5000, bad image, too much plastic, Nikon is better....... Just want to say this is a really good camera for me (the real user) and those people if you love Nikon or don't like Canon, please just walk away.     • In the dark environment have to focusing manually but not a problem of me because I got couple Zeiss lens those have to focusing manually.
