    Canon has done it again with the 1Ds Mk III and I expect that studios across the globe will be ordering them as a matter of course, just for the high resolution. In use it's a workhorse, and what it lacks in grace and beauty is made up for with its strength and results and what results!     Unbelievable image quality. Solid, rugged build. Weather-proofing everywhere. Ultra-fast autofocus. Overall, the camera is heavier than a 5D (duh) but it actually balances out things when you have a heavy long lens. Dust reduction is a nice new feature. Cannot select all focus points at once. No dedicated WB button and no ISO 6400+ (even though the D3 softens images at that ISO.) Two Compact Flash card slots would have been nice instead of CF and SD. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    Bästa kamerahuset jag ägt under 30 års fotograferande! Genomtänkt i minsta detalj. Att det inte blev full pott skylls inte på kamerahuset utan på objektiven. Vissa vidvinkelzoomar håller inte högsta klass. Det skall ju bli skarpt också! Läs mer

    Had the Mk llls for 2 years and have no complaints, now lagging a bit behind Nikon in some respects, so it's now in the top two instead of the market leader. It is true what they say, to get the best from it you have to use Canons top lenses, I have settled for just three as I take mostly landscape images. 70-200 L 2.8 is usm. 24-105 L F4 is usm. 16-35 LMk ll 2.8. + the 1,4 L extender.     • My main beef is with Canon. The sensor was covered in oil spots and ruined a days shooting (far too many to Photoshop out). I had to return it to them at my cost! £47....

    Almost the same menus as 1DIII, which I have used for some time and like. Requires more care as the detail of the image is so high. Just got back from a week in Death Valley for flowers, shots look wonderful. Colors are very good. Data size get large in a hurry, I download to my laptop everyday. Love it!
