   Last year Leica released the D-Lux 5, a high-end compact camera, and this year, just in time for Christmas, they’ve released the D-Lux5 Titanium, a Special Edition version on the same camera in anodized silver-grey finish. The camera comes in a special set with a high quality case with shoulder strap and a copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.    I too own a Nikon D90, but the lens on the D-Lux 5 is awesome. You can call it red dot mania or a Lumix or anything else, but the lens is a Leica! With three aspect ratios to choose from, I really like the wide angle feature it provides. The thumb wheel on the back of the camera is also very nice for changing aperture or shutter speeds.    If you always wanted a Leica, this is a great entry level camera. I had always wanted one with the classic Leica style. But there was traditionally only the M series which cost a bundle.    Contemplated between Panasonic Lumix and Leica D-Lux 5 - but Leica has slightly simpler design, better menu, came with Adobe Lightroom, and great fan base to get knowledge.
