   När ursprungliga Panasonic DMC-GF1 lanserades 2009 var den utan jämförelse den bästa systemkameran utan elektronisk sökare i entusiastklassen. Den var snabb och exakt att jobba med och tog utmärkta bilder. Sedan fick vi GF2 och nu senast GF3. Rent fototekniskt har kamerorna blivit enklare och enklare att sköta, för att de ska passa familjefotograferna, så nu lanserar Panasonic en helt ny serie för entusiasterna. Still, the electronics giant has continued to innovate and has created a new premium enthusiast range with its Lumix G ‘X’ series, of which this 16 megapixel GX1 is the first offering.    For all its issues, we liked shooting with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1X. Sure it’s quirky, but like Sony’s NEX interface we’re sure it’ll become second nature over time. However, it’s too expensive to recommend unreservedly. Even with the quality lens and extensive photo-centric features, $849 is just too much compared to higher-end Olympus PENs and Sony NEX models.    Att använda: 3 Hållbarhet: 4 Erfarenheterna är lite blandade. Den ger bra upplösning och hyfsat lågt brus upp till ISO1600 men i början har det varit problem med fokuseringen. Det visade sig bero på pekskärmen som gör mer skada än nytta. Om man hänger kameran över axeln kommer skärmen att stöta emot sidan/höften och då tänds skärmen och fokuspunkten flyttas till den del som fått en stöt. Läs mer

   I bought the DMC-GX1 on a whim when the price dropped to $250. Probably a new model is nigh as the GX1 cost $700 last year. I own an Olympus E-P3 and assorted M4/3 optics so I figured another new toy to share lenses couldn't hurt. CONSTRUCTION & FEEL Once in hand, I was surprised how small and light the GX1 is.    Light, compact easy to carry. Comprehensive range of controls that are accessible via the touch screen and Quick Menu and even programmable Function buttons. Good low light performance, offers decent burst modes to capture moving subjects, touch screen focussing is very promising though still learning out to best use the camera.    I have had this camera for about a month now and shot 250+ images on two different lenses so I feel I can give some first impressions on this now. When reading this bear in mind that I've been a DSLR user for a few years now and was looking for a second camera that was very portable but lost as little as possible of the quality I have been used to in images.
