    Winning looks, speed and value make LaCie’s Rikiki the killer portable hard drive to beat.     LaCie has built their name on creating stylish products that are as easy to use as they are easy on the eyes so when it came time to make a 2.5" based portable hard drive, it really is not all that surprising that they would make something as drop dead sexy as the Rikiki.     Fick av en slump LaCie Rikiki 500 GB dagarna efter jag gjort min Storagebird recensionen. Förpackningen är av plast (så kallad blister förpackning) så man får vara försikti med att öppna den. Har varit med om att personer skärt av USB-kabel och hörlurar eftersom förpackningen döljer dem väl. Instruktionerna är det som man förmodligen har skurit sönder för det är den som döljer USB-kabel och chassiets baksida. Läs mer

    • USB - kabel är inte ens längre än 12 cm .

    First of all, I'm a photographer which means I have thousands of photos to back up on a daily basis. The product has a great look to it and it's also USB 3.0 which was a great selling point for me because it's all about speed. I've had it for about 2 weeks right now and when I tried to plug in the USB cable to the harddrive, the connector went all the way in. Which means?!     Funkar fint och prestandan är grym med USB3. Behöver ingen extra strömadapter för att funka (har testat både mot min Synology DS212 NAS samt min bärbara dator utan problem). Däremot stör jag mig lite på att hårddisk-aktivitets-indikatorn är monterad baktill där man normalt inte ser den. Läs mer

    If you want the smallest hard drive then LaCie Rikiki portable hard Drive should be the best bet. The 640 GB capacity packed into this small piece is amazing. The design is also good. Other than the design, storage capacity and its portability, there is nothing much to rave about this hard drive. The drive also works silently. No maddening noises that the hard drives usually make.
