Något skapare och tydligare än Ruby/Sapphire, men det grafiska imponerar verkligen inte. Hemsk musik, ett uråldrigt kontrollsystem som inte ens använder L- och R-knapparna, samt bristen på nytänkande gör sitt bästa för att förstöra upplevelsen. Men tillräckligt mycket av Pokémon-magin finns kvar för att rädda spelet- till viss del. Om du inte tröttnar under de första timmarna så kommer spelet att hålla länge. Ännu ett Pokémon-spel. Läs mer

Grafiken är okej, upplägget är inte alls nytt, ljudet är dugligt – men trots detta är jag själv fast och vill bara ta mig längre in i Pokémonvärlden för femtiefte gången. Det blir såhär när varje nytt spel kommer. Frågan som kan vara relevant att ställa är om Pokémon Emerald är ett måste och svaret på det är nej. Läs mer

Players who have already soaked up everything Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire have to offer will probably appreciate the largely subtle changes Emerald makes, thanks to the "gotta catch 'em all" mentality bred by the series, though it's unlikely to do a satisfactory job of scratching the itch for an all-new Pokémon adventure. Reviewing a game like Pokémon Emerald retrospectively opens up a whole can of Wurmples. can best be described as an expansion pack to Ruby and Sapphire. It takes place in the same world, with the same Pokedex, and has the same storyline, with slight variations. It does have new features, such as the Battle Frontier system and some other more subtle additions. Regardless, the comparions to Ruby and Sapphire are unavoidable. Introduction Pokemon Emerald was bought out in the UK in 2005 for the Game Boy Advance (GBA). Even if it's the 9th Pokémon game on Nintendo's GameBoy systems (in North America), it is still popular and a pretty good game. If you haven't try the Ruby or Sapphire version, give it a shot. The newly added features are good too. You can catch the 3 legendary Pokémon, you fight with both Aqua and Magma Team, Battle Frontier has been added, etc. Also, slight change in the story, but basically, it is the same as Ruby and Sapphire.
