    I use this sub to bring out the lows that my midrange speakers aren't really designed to reproduce. I do a lot of film audio, sfx design, and dabble in music. So far I think this sub is great. Very easy to hook up. Stereo in, crossover, then out put to midrange. The crossover is adjustable, ANYWHERE from 50Hz to 200Hz, with the remaining highs going to the stereo midrange speakers.
