The Audioengine 5 is not only one of the best-sounding speaker systems we’ve heard in a long while, it’s also one of the smartest speaker designs we’ve seen in the MP3-player era. I was previously content with all my audio equipment, and it's a shame that I now have to hunt for speakers of a higher caliber. But I won't have to hunt long. That fullness, that warmth crap that audiophiles are always hitting you with? These speakers have it in spades. These speakers sound beautiful straight out of the box, with a clarity I've rarely heard anywhere. I've tested them with various genres, and even let my friend plug in his mixer and practice his DJing. They easily fill largish rooms with sound at moderate volumes, and function perfectly at around 80% volume. For now, anything higher and the bass becomes muddy and distorted, but not unbearably so. Väldigt detaljerat och neutralt ljud. Märks särskilt om man lyssnar på högre kvaliteer som 320 kbps och uppåt. Bra anslutningsmöjliheter. Allt följer med i paktetet (sladdar, tygpåsar etc). Det är tydligt att det är en produkt skapad av personer som brinner för det de gör och för att kunden ska bli nöjd. Väl värd att stötta. Läs mer

I'll echo the comments already entered - these speakers are absolutely wonderful and probably about the best you can do for MP3 playback, bar none. I did try to 'stretch the envelope' a little bit and also use these as speakers for my TV/cable box, and while the sound is 'good', it's not 'great'...these speakers struggle in particular at low volume, so it's hard to watch TV without the volume set to blaring. I have a very small room in my condo for entertainment. I settled on a 37 inch TV - about as big as the space would allow. I added a DVR and Blu-ray player. Music is streamed from my iMac - in another room - via AirTunes and an Airport Express. My speakers are A5B+, which now has a remote. The remote controls volume and mute and will put the speakers into sleep mode at a power consumption of only 4 watts.. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

I did quite a bit of homework before purchasing these A5s, after which I anticipated good build quality, excellent sonic performance for the money, and ease of installation & use with my i-Pod. I can now report that I've not been disappointed at all, and as intended, I have the speakers set up in my dining area - great for entertaining/ambient music or for more serious listening.
