    Nikon's latest flagship flashgun has been redesigned from the ground up and is a completely different beast from its predecessor, the SB-800. It's larger, heavier, curvier, and so sophisticated that you'll almost certainly need to read the chunky 140-page manual to work it out.     I have 3 of these that I use with pocketwizards as off camera flash units. I own all Canon equipment except for these gems. They have an amazing color, and super fast flash duration. It doesn't mention it anywhere, but if you use Ni-Zn batteries you can get a full power recycle of 1.1 seconds, very handy for weddings/ flash sequences. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    Mängder med inställningar för att få den ultimata blixten. Bouncer samt ett par filter hänger med när du köper den. Med i köpet kommer även ett väldigt bra fodral med separata fack för blixt och bouncer, filter och filteradapter. Går att köra trådlöst på mycket långa avstånd när man avfyrar den med blixt. Läs mer

    If you are serious about your photography, this is a must have. The flash makes the SB-800 feel like a relic. The light patter function is very effective and versatile. This unit is also much more powerful than the last flag ship. The commander mode works flawlessly as expected. The automatic gel recognizing feature is very useful.     Yes, this is a little bigger and clunkier than I like, but otherwise this is an amazing flash that is well worth the extra money compared to an SB-800. My SB-800 is relegated to off-camera CLS slave duty only now due to its cumbersome mode change process. Being able to switch in a second from TTL only, to master or to slave is ESSENTIAL for event photographers with quickly changing real-world situations. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    I just set up a great home portrait studio. Great output, fancy controls, nice features overall. On the negative slide, I have some great older strobes that have flash sync and would love to use them with this unit by having them fire off of flash sync with the SB900 but that is not possible unless I trigger my SB900 by cord to my camera. I cannot use the remote commander mode to do it because it emits a pre-flash that fires my older strobes at the wronge time. Läs mer Översätt till svenska
