Some of you may have already followed our full format review of the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 USM L IS II. The lens performed highly impressive here already but it's even better on APS-C DSLRs due to the sweet spot effect ("center" crop) here. The resolution is nothing short of phenomenal for a zoom lens and that's throughout the focal length range as well as across the image field. Lateral CAs are not an issue to worry about either. It should come as no surprise to learn that Canon's professional-specification Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM zoom lens is an ergonomic delight. It sits comfortably in the hand and its controls all fall naturally within fingertip reach. The zoom ring is rearwards and has a quarter-turn throw; the focusing ring is further forwards and rotates through about 130 degrees to reach its 1.4m minimum object distance. Nu har jag hunnit testa objektivet så pass mycket att jag kan uttala mig lite om vad jag tycker. Med 135/2.0L som referens så blir man ju onekligen lite kräsen vad gäller skärpan, men den här tycker jag är lika skarp på full öppning som 135:an. Tänkte först avyttra 135:an och mitt 70-200/4L, eftersom jag egentligen klarar mig med denna. Men en heldag i skidbacken gör att jag tvekar. Läs mer

- Det kanske ska vara vikt och volym.

I bought this lens after a year and a half with the f4 version and am amazed at the quality. This lens performs amazing for all of my needs, though I am no professional. It does get a little soft when wide open. The weight however is a big concern. It begins to hurt your hand pretty quickly. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

Well, what to say. this lens is absolutely worthy of its L stamp. There is always a choice to make for anyone looking at the 70 200 L group of lenses. what i would say, is, regardless of whether you choose the f/4 or f/2.8, ensure you get an image stabilised version. the IS on these lenses are second to none. I had to make the coice of f/4 or f/2.8 and decided to spend the extra cash on the 2.8. Läs mer Översätt till svenska
