    It is very pleasant to test the lens and have nothing bad to say about it in the summary. In all honesty, the only major flaw we would point out would be the performance for the maximum aperture at the 70 mm focal length.     This was my first significant lens purchase, and it hasn't disappointed. I have a Rebel Xsi, and without the battery grip, this lens would seem a bit large on that body, but otherwise it does a phenomenal job! After much research, I decided to start with this lens to add reach to the kit lens. Now, I'm not satisfied with the quality of the kit lens, since this one is SO sharp!     I love this camera... I take railroad photographs and it is awesome. Wish it had more mm, but for the price it is plenty. Photos are amazingly sharp, even with the 1.4x extender. Focus is fast and silent. Läs mer

    I purchased this lens over a year ago. This was my first Canon L Series lens. It is called Canon's sharpest zoom lens, and from my experience, I'd have to agree. The Image Stabilization claims up to four F-Stops. My experience backs this up. At a local park near dusk, I photographed deer handheld at 1/15 of a second and 200mm and the photos were all tack sharp. Läs mer
