    The Nikkor 1.8/50 isn’t a faultless instrument because it would be impossible for a 120 $ device to be so. For that sum of money we still get quite a lot so it would hard to complain especially that in the most important category, concerning the resolution, the Nikkor definitely shows its true caliber.     Now if you are attempting to travel light with your camera then this is probably the lens for you since it is very small and you can capture some great (amazing) pictures with this camera. I mean it is only like 2 inches long, and it’s really light so it’s perfect for your trip! This lens is really, really sharp.     Helt klart ett objektiv som är användbart. Speciellt till porträtt bilder och det passar perfekt som första objektiv efter kitobjektivet. Den stora bländaren gör att du kan fota när det är mörkt vilket gör att du slipper brusiga bilder eller använda blixt. Läs mer

    I recently purchased a used Nikon F100 for a Photography class. (I've always wanted to learn to develop film. It's not that easily accessible!) This was one of two lenses I bought, knowing that I wanted a lightweight, compact, and "fast" lens. It's worked great. I was very happy to get this lens - brand new - and have loved the results.     Got this for Christmas after a long wishlist wait. Result! Absolutely amazing little lens. Brilliant low light capabilities,with super sharp results. I use with my Nikon D5000, and it doesn't autofocus - not necessarily a bad thing as i reckon most keen amateurs (such as myself) should give manual focus a good practice. Also, the lens locks on F22 but the aperture can be altered through the camera. So please don't be put off by that. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    I have been using Nikon cameras and lenses for several decades. This is not one that they should be proud of. If you must have a fast "normal" lens for limited amount of money, it's is OK, but you get what you paid for. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    Nej det är inte AF motor i det här objektivet men Nikon har nu släppt ett 35mm f/1.8D med AF motor
