   The Acer Aspire One D270 won't impress anyone with its performance. Intel's new N2600 processor is only slightly faster than the old Atom N550 - enough for basic Office work, web surfing, and music and (standard definition) movies, but that's about it.    Item arrived very quickly and well packaged as expected from Amazon - no surprises there. Whilst it is a nicely presented machine with a better than expected display quality and of course an HDMI out port; when using the machine generally, and especially using Internet Explorer, it just seemed to lack zip and there was noticeable latency when moving between websites.    Upgraded the ram to 2gb via Crucial and updated the bios to recognize it. Installed desktop software, Office 2010, Movie Codecs (along with tons of movies) and lots of video games. I'm set. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

   • Great solid build, good looking design. Comes with Windows 7 Basic and has a large 320gb Toshiba HDD.
   • Tons of bloatware you have to remove. Once that's gone it works great.

   • lightweight, easy to handle, contains all the programs you need, has lots of storage
   • no internal CD drive, earlier models tend to "freeze up"
