   The X54HR-SO060V's low price of just under EUR 480 is noticed wherever you look. There is only one RAM slot, a weak 4 cell battery, only 2 USB ports and no graphics switching - the list of cost-cutting measures is long. The image and sound quality isn't really impressive, either. We were particularly disappointed by the viewing angle dependent and contrast poor screen. Moreover, there is the quite lame entry level graphics card and the clattery keyboard.    This laptop has a beautiful screen and is very responsive when running Windows 7. The keyboard functions well as does the trackpad. Unfortunately I had purchased it to drive a ham radio and the power supply it came with (which was not the original) is so noisy (radio frequency noise) as to make that impossible. Any radio receiver nearby is jammed completely. Wrapping the power cord around a massive toroid helps somewhat. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

   I received this laptop for Christmas. My partner did the research on it; whilst looking for a laptop that cost under £400, he noticed this one appeared in several 'best value' lists. He gave two main reasons for choosing this one over others; it had a fast processor and seemed sturdy.    • The hard drive is a bit small, but for the price I was willing to take it (externals are quite cheap anyway.).
