   Our test unit comes equipped with an Intel Pentium B960 processor. This dual-core CPU is a member of the Sandy Bridge generation. Core frequency is 2.2 GHz. A Turbo mode is not offered. During our stress test (Prime95 and Furmark in parallel), the CPU frequency remained stable - throttling was not observed. The GPU frequency, however, fluctuated between 650 and 1100 MHz.    You just can’t go too wrong with the Lenovo B570-1068AJU for $300.  I still can’t believe it’s being sold for such a price when you see horribly underpowered and small screen netbooks being sold for $350.  The B570 is being sold at Best Buy for $300 is a bargain, and it’d still be a bargain if it were $350.  The plastic build quality is of course not the greatest and the design looks are, well, boring to put it nicely.  But if you’re just looking for a laptop that does Läs mer Översätt till svenska

   This review is being written on the laptop being reviewed Better hardware may be available for the same price, but I highly doubt you'll get better quality. This laptop is built more like a tank than a laptop . Let me explain, this laptop had a lot of water spilled on its keyboard, the laptop survived, despite 2 keys not working.    Been using it for more than an year. It is a really good laptop in its range. It doesn't weigh heavy, the keys are very comfortable to work with.. Touch-Pad is excellent, Sound is also fine. Generates very less heat even even when used for 24hrs. Battery can last around 3 hours with ease. Its matte-finish proves too be good against rough usage, even after an year, the laptop looks as good as a new one. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

   To respond to the 3 star review below, this is the B570e model which does NOT have the eSATA port or fingerprint reader. I don't need either of these two features so I don't particularly think for the cost this matters to me personally but if you need these features you need to look for the B570 model (no 'e').    This laptop was my 2012 Xmas gift from my daughter. Although the laptop was delivered to my daughter by end of November I did not see it until the Christmas day. I was very excited. After using it for a couple of week I was having some trouble with the touchpad mouse in the laptop--it would constantly freeze.
