MSI provides an awesome specification at an awesome price in an outdated chassis. If you're willing to put up with its somewhat garish looks, terrible battery life and a few other foibles, nothing for even close to the same money can touch this GX740 laptop when it comes to sheer gaming performance. System Noise Only a few gaming notebooks achieve a balance between performance and reasonable emissions. The MSI GX740 could not really be counted among these, at least when it comes to the notebooks noise level. This is a fantastic gaming notebook from MSI. It plays everygame I have from crysis to bad company 2 at maxed resolution (1680x1050) and 4x AA 8xAF. It does exhaust hot air when gaming, but the design of the exhaust system is very well designed. It consists of two exhaust ports, in the right corner, one on the back and one on the right, making a tunnel, if you will, to provide superior heat dispersion. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

I am very pleased with my purchase. Starting out it is an excellent value for the hardware. You're not going to find the Bluetooth, 17 inch screen, i7-720QM and Radeon HD5870 for the price. The technical support is great. They even have their phone number on the bottom of the laptop. The pros, overall laptop has an excellent design with a rugged build that's not a fingerprint magnet. - CRITICAL: Apparently these were installed with inferior LCD screens which results in "dancing pixels." This is readily visible on very light/white or grey color gradie...
