    Paper Mario was a defining moment for RPGs on the N64, which is a little sad, considering the quality of it. The game isn’t bad, in fact, the battles are highly enjoyable, and the game’s worth at least a rental simply because of that.     Mario makes his triumphent return to the world of Rpgs, but this time with a new developer. When it comes to making rpgs Square soft is king. Unfortunately this time around Mario had to settle for Intelligent Systems, but this is not a bad thing. Intelligent Systems did a damn good job of creating what will be the last Mario title on N64.     • Innovative gameplay and graphics., Dozens of recogonizable characters sure to take you back to your NES and SNES days., Easy to pick up, even if you aren't used to RPG...
    • Pixelated graphics at times., Relatively easy to beat, can be completed in several days.

    Nintendo hasn't been very kind to certain portions of its fan base during the lifetime of the Nintendo 64. Anyone who's spent any time with the machine over the last few years will certainly have noticed the absence of entire genres in their software lineup.     En slags uppföljare till Super Mario RPG. Paper Mario är ett RPG av yppersta klass. Nintendo valde att göra alla figurer papperstunna vilket man hör på namnet. Nintendo har gjort en komisk omtolkning av Mushroom kingdoms karaktärer och resultatet blev väldigt lyckligt. Genren till trots så är Paper Mario inget spel som har en mörk eller lång och invecklad story bakom sig. Läs mer

    Now here is an interesting concept if I ever heard one. Take probably the best loved video gaming mascot, place him in a three dimensional RPG world, where every character is a flat two dimensional ‘cut out’ of paper.     • Easy to understand RPG, Loads of Mario references and in-jokes, Genuinely funny in places
    • RPG elements will be overly simple to fans of the genre, Controls and graphics feel dated

    • Battle system easy to learn, nice customizable features, fun side missions, funny dialogue
    • Perhaps too simple for some players, simple story, fairly short in length
