    I bought these drives under the impression that they are with a pata connection since they are listed as pata or ide pata but when I received the drives via ups I found out that they are actually sata. I don't have that kind of connection with my old computer I found them in the ubuntu linux community as compatible DVD burners for IDE pata interface for this operating system of which I use.     • Very cheap. Burns everything without complaint of hiccup.
    • Am unable to boot from this drive.
