We've seen a good few number of Cooler Master's products over the course of time here at OC3D, and they've never failed to deliver in any category that we've seen yet. And neither of these coolers can be accused of breaking this streak. They are both well built, solid products which suffer from no major flaws. The X'Mas edition of the Titan Fenrir looks like a formidable CPU cooler with a morbid red and black paint job, shiny stock fan, and fat direct-touch heatpipes, but its bark is much bigger than its bite. It has a decent sounding fan that undervolts well, but its performance is somewhat lacking compared to the competition. While not much new has been accomplished in terms of lower temperatures over the original designs, the functionality and flexibility has certainly been improved on the Hyper 212 Plus and TX3 coolers. The new fan clips are a big improvement, providing an easier mounting method, allowing larger fans to be installed, and a convenient way of having a push/pull cooling configuration if you so choose. Although the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus launched with a retail value of $40 US, that appears to have now dropped to just $30 US as evident at several major online retailers. Den var ju inte alls så lättmonterad som vissa här antytt. Man måste byta köpa två nya fläktar för att denna ska prestera godkänt. Svårt då att kalla den prisvärd. Sen påstår vissa här att den är tyst original. Det är den ju inte! Läs mer

Hard to beat these. They are well built, cool excellently, and do not cost a fortune. I have paid a lot more for a lot less cooler 10 years ago. I'm very happy to see these on the market. I believe they at the very least provide a good, inexpensive reference point for comparing other coolers. Great stuff! Right now I have one on my desktop computer cooling a Core i5 2500k. My mobo threw out CPU fan errors until I turned off its fan monitoring. The fan speeds up appropriately at load and, as mentioned before, keeps everything delightfully cool, but it only spins at 600-800 RPM at startup, which my mobo apparently hates. I'm looking into either figuring out how to get the fan to spin a bit faster at startup or how to drop my mobo's threshold, because I don't want to leave fan monitoring off. - I bought this cooler not just because it was cheap... but because I heard amazing things about it. So far, everything said about it was true!
- Installing this thing was a pain in the rear - specifically the backplate. I had to stand the mobo on its side to make it at all workable, and this made me veeeery unc...

Installing it is a trip, but once it's on it just works great. Keeps my CPU nice and cool. The included fan could be quieter, but it can be replaced, and if you bring the speed down a bit (around 1,000 rpm) it's basically silent. Can't beat it for the price. Läs mer Översätt till svenska
