Ok, so the results are in, the dust has settled, and we've found the Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler to be quite the product. I made reference to the large size of this cooler repeatedly through this review but once you see the performance numbers of this cooler you'll quickly forget about the gigantic size of the cooler. The Noctua NH-D14 is a nice mix of performance and noise and even when running the fans at their low speeds the performance was stellar. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

What can we say? The results really do speak for themselves. When Noctua announce a CPU cooler, heads turn for a very good reason. They don’t stop halfway and quality is keyword with any product from the Austrian outfit. The NH-D14 tore the Thermalright Venomous X to pieces. Final Thoughts After seeing how well Noctua’s NH-C14 performed I had really high expectations for the NH-D14 and they were exceeded! The NH-D14 performed even better than the NH-C14! If we compare it to the stock AMD cooler it was 14 degrees cooler during idle and 18 degrees cooler during load at stock speeds. When we overclocked the CPU to 3.8GHz it was 11 degrees cooler during idle and 20 degrees cooler during load. Those are very impressive numbers! Läs mer Översätt till svenska

Jag hade sett den på många bilder, både hört och läst att den är stor men jag förstod det först när jag såg den!!!!!! Gör ett grymt jobb, har satt ultra-motstånden, så jag hör den knappt, men processorn är fortfarande sval. Dock har jag inte behövt klocka prollen än (2500K) vilket var anledningen till att jag köpte denna, därför kan jag inte säga hur den kyler en klockad processor. Kan inte tänka mig annat än bra! Quiet and cool. It can hang with some modest watercooling systems too. I think the Silver Arrow is it's closest competition right now and I'd recommend this because I like the mounting hardware. The whole packaging and instructions are put together with care. This is a very high quality product from start to finish. The fans are efficient and quiet which is really annoying. This thing is huge. It reminds me of the passive heatsink in an old G4 Mac (with the flip down side panel). At first I was hesitant but with my AMD stock backplate and the mounting system it is very solid but still the tension is correct to hold it to the processor firmly without apply too much pressure. - -Great heat dissipation. With no OC'ing my FX-4100 CPU dropped from 38c to 32c.
- -Without 140mm installed in the center it is easy to bend the two "towers" in towards each other. Mine moved a little but everything went back in to place and mounted ...
