    The graphics in this game are gorgeous, almost on the level of the impossible-to-beat Tobal 2 , by the same company. Of course, Tobal 2 never came out in the States, so Ehrgeiz is definitely the smoothest moving fighter in the States. It runs at 60fps, with quite detailed character models and good animations.     is definitely the smoothest moving fighter in the States. It runs at 60fps, with quite detailed character models and good animations. The sound in this game, on the other hand, can get really obnoxious. The select sound started driving me nuts fewer than three minutes after I started to play the game.     Ehrgeiz är en konstig samling spel. Huvuddelen är ett medelmåttigt 3D slagsmålsspel som mest fått uppmärksamhet för att karaktärer från Final Fantasy 7 är valbara. Det går att hoppa upp på lådor och röra sig fritt, men mest handlar det om att använda sin avståndsattack på motståndaren. En annan del är ett äventyrsspel där man väljer mellan två karaktärer som ska utforska en stor grotta. Läs mer

    Ehrgeiz is an unusual game, in that it has a standard beat-em-up mode, but also includes a short RPG story. Unfortunately despite some innovative ideas, overall the game is disappointing. One of the main selling points of this game was that it used characters from Final Fantasy VII. Unfortunately they are only featured in the beat-em-up mode, not the RPG, and some of the hidden characters, like Vincent, do not have their own moves, instead appearing to be reskinned...
