    The good news, however, is that the game still plays well, regardless of graphical concerns - and once you're twenty minutes into the strange world which your character, Ashley Riot, must infiltrate, the graphics probably won't bother you much.     Vagrant Story is the kind of game the dungeon crawling AD&D fanatics have been craving for. With an advanced fighting system that allows you to target certain body parts and chain attacks by timing your button pushes, you'll start on probably the most complex and involving game to come in for the PlayStation yet.     You will fall in deep love with the characters and the story that binds them. Truly, you will. It goes like this: the Duke's son has been kidnapped during a siege on his manor, so his council dispatches two agents to retrieve him. One Ashley Right and one Callo Merlose.     I've been noticing a pattern with Squaresoft's games of late. Aside from the fact that their localizations are greatly improving, I've found their plots to be increasingly unpredictable. It isn't that their narrative information is at all surprisingly new or original, but in terms of general focus and execution, they appear to be more confident and understated.     År 2000 så fick rollspelsgenren ett tillskott som visade sig vara något väldigt unikt. “Vagrant Story” släpptes i vevan mellan “Final Fantasy VIII och IX” till Playstation. “Vagrant Story” är berättelsen om Ashley Riot, en soldat i den armé som kallas för VKP(Valendia Knights of the Peace).     Vagrant Story You are Ashley Riot, a troubleshooter for the crown who is going to investigate a rebel faction. The plot of the game becomes complicated and even at the end of the game I wasn’t sure why half the events going on were happening or what role the characters played.
