This projector is missing out on several features that make a real difference between it and more high-end models. Apart from that, though, it does a solid job of projecting Full HD video. With beautiful colour and a virtually non-existent rainbow effect, the HC3800 has the best picture quality we've ever seen from a DLP projector and even outshines many LCD models. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

Above, good contrast projector on the left (Epson 8350), and ultra-high contrast projector on the right - Epson Home Cinema 8700UB. The image is intentionally overexposed so you can see the dark shadow detail, and also the additional dynamic look, thanks to superior black level performance of the 8700UB. After 14 months the projector failed. Would not light up. But under warrantee they replaced it quickly after I sent it back. The problem is that when it came back it would not work with my 35 foot HDMI cable like the old one did. It appeared to try to sync but would come up with NO SIGNAL. I bought an HDMI booster but that did not work at all. I had to go back to using component video that is barely worse that the 1080 HDMI. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

Stunning Image Quality at a great price

Can not beat the image quality for the money. RBG Component input is not as sharp as HDMI input, so I recommend connecting your Blu-Ray player thru the HDMI only. The room I have the projector in is not completely dark and I am still getting a bright, colorful image with deep blacks. I bought the HC3800 to replace an Epson Powerlight Home 10 and the picture quality of the HC3880 is fantastic. Läs mer Översätt till svenska
