    The dual band feature is capable of improving wireless range and makes the router comparatively good value. However, Gigabit Ethernet isn't on the menu, wireless performance is nothing to write home about and we were also concerned that during our wireless tests the router hung on a number of occasions when we changed the wireless mode and had to be rebooted to clear it.     The biggest problem with wireless routers is the amount of interference, which can disrupt your connection. This is bad enough with standard 802.11g networks, but with Draft-N it's potentially worse and can turn a super-fast network into a slow one.     I was experiencing constant connectivity problems with the Netgear WNR854T Router. I was getting 144 mbps from it, but had to reset it at least once a week. I have had this router for 2 weeks and have not had to reset it once, plus I am getting anywhere from 270 mbps at peak and 162 mbps at the low end. I definitely would recommend this router to anyone.     I bought this at Walmart for $75. I felt I was in need for a new one to replace an old Linksys G Wireless Router. I was specifically looking for a router that could handle my Xbox 360, sister's laptop, and our Desktop. I looked at this one, and saw that it looked to be one of their top of the line routers.     • The only good thing about this router is that it is really easy to set up.
    • It drops signal, my ipod couldn't even find it from 10 ft. away. Terrible Range. The router is overall a fingerprint magnet! Old G Router gives better signal!
