    The included Epson Scan software is easy to use, offering many different modes, from full-auto to advanced, depending on the amount of control you want over your scan settings. The software includes tools to automatically restore color to faded photographs, which worked pretty well on a 45-year-old snapshot of my parents.     I bought the v200 not the V300 but they seem similar. I bought this scanner basically for doing negatives and 35mm presentation slides and making them digital. After a bit of trial and error, and finally having to scour the Users Manual, the process for scanning was quite quick and the scans themselves very, very good. Trick: Read the Users Manual first and avoid the headaches and error messages trying to get a Preview window. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    I spent a long time searching for scanners and reading reviews before I selected this one. I could not decide between this one and the kind that you feed individually. Those look much easier and faster but people kept complaining about the quality of the images so I went with the V300. Also I have about 30 slides to scan which only flatbed type scanners can do (to my knowledge). I could take them somewhere and have them do it but it would be handy to do it myself.     I'm using the scanner on photos, slides, pictures and as a copy machine. For the price it does a good enough job. A more expensive scanner may do a better job. May not. It does a super job on document scans. Fast and clean copies. Much better than the scanner it replaced. I'm pleased with it's performance for the price. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    Easy installation, the software it's easy and the steps to follow easy too, the front buttons help a lot to make a fast scan. The only function that i didn't use yet are the auto re-touch, but when I scan my negatives it looks like an actual picture, of course some brightness and contranst have to add in some cases, more light etc. but I really satisfied with the product at all.
