    I bought this turntable to replace my 30 year old turntable and to digitize my vinyl. As a turntable it works well when connected to the "line out" jacks. When connected to my amp with the phono cables there is a bad hum. Sony support says to connect the separate ground wire to eliminate the hum but this model has no ground wire or any place to connect one. I gave up on Sony's on line support.     The turntable worked great right out of the box. I'm using the USB connection via Windows 7, and the OS installed the hardware instantly. The included software installed fine, but then told me I needed to update to latest version. Upon doing so, I was told my PC had an old version of C++ distributable; it took me a bit of time to stop everything and install that version. Subsequently, the installation worked fine.     I love the color black for it goes with the rest of my entertainment system. I don't like the slopped cover for I can't sit all my remote contols on it for they slide off. I'm old fashion and want to still play my lp's from the 1960's-1990's. Eventually I will record them on computer for they are wearing out from years of use. Läs mer Översätt till svenska
