    The Canon Pixma IP4700 also retains some of the features we loved most about the IP4600, including two paper trays, the fact users are warned on their PC screen if the print output tray is closed and the ability to print on to DVDs and CDs using the included dedicated tray.     • Looks like a black blob. Overpriced printer ink is still legalized larceny.

    When closed it is just a rectangular black box 44 x 30 x16cm high with the paper cassette protruding from the front by some 9cm. Overall, it is black in colour, with a partly matt and partly brightly polished finish, so that it would not even look out of place in most homes.     When it prints, it is decent enough, but it can take an hour of fiddling and resetting to get the infamous "Error 6c10" to go away. In the mean time, it has cleaned the heads 20 times and used up half the ink. After giving up on HP printers, I thought I had found a winner in Canon. Boy was I wrong. Worst printer I have ever owned. To add insult to injury, the printer was expensive and so is the ink. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    For years i always said i would not buy a printer and had no need, Then came my Daughter of course now i need a way to print pictures not just myself but for family also. I always thought printers , colour especially were way to expensive to run but when needs must I spent a lot of time looking at printer and consumable prices, and although nervous about spending money on any printer and wondering what kind of quality to expect I eventually had to take the plunge and...     • Nice design takes up less space than others that have bits sticking out
    • No wireless option. Too much warning regarding front try being opened or closed

    Using Canon ink and paper, photos look great, better than most retailers churn out, colours are pretty accurate out of the box, and improvements can be made by playing around with colour profiles, some are supplied for Canon papers. Text is dark and crisp, and being able to keep plain paper in the lower cartridge makes for an easy life, just feed photo paper in the back if required and the printer can sort out which to use.     To get a quality photo printer that also has built in auto duplex is a great find. This printer replaces a Canon i550 which I had for years and worked well for me. I'm glad I now have the ip4700. It's much quieter and faster than the old i550. I especially like the cassette tray which stores my 8.5 x 11 plain paper. It keeps the paper dust free, preventing any dirt from being drawn into the print head and other internals. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    • As with most cheap printers, no usb cable included. Glossy finish is pretty, but a fingerprint magnet.
