    It's only worth choosing the Dell Inspiron Zino HD as a media centre if you're planning to do other things with it too. If you can see yourself sending mails and browsing the web on it as well, that's great, but otherwise, you'd be better off with a dedicated device. Compared to its rival the Mac Mini, the Zino's Blu-ray drive is a real advantage, but its overall performance can't match Apple's. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    The compact design of the Zino HD will certainly appeal to anyone that wants a neat and attractive media centre PC, or even just a snazzy desktop for day-to-day work. However, the 1.5GHz processor is a bit feeble, and if Apple can beat it with the similarly priced Mac Mini, then Dell certainly ought to be doing better on that score. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    The Inspiron Zino HD would make a good candidate as a second PC or for use in places where space it tight, such as dorm rooms, kitchens, or New York City apartments--an especially nice touch is the wireless keyboard and mouse ($75) option, which gives you much more freedom in tight spaces, not having to worry about tripping over extra cables.     Though it’s not exactly the best value proposition around, Dell’s Zino HD offers pretty much the ideal combination of size, power and features for the perfect home theatre or small desktop PC. As long as you aren’t interested in gaming and aren't tempted by a Mac mini, this is one very attractive machine!     I ordered this computer after a Dell's sales person confidently (and somewhat deceptively) confirmed that it would support Ubuntu Linux 10.04 LTS. After several failed attempts at installing Ubuntu 10.04 (as well as earlier versions of the Linux operating system), I concluded that the older public releases of Ubuntu (i.e., those versions released prior to 11.04, Natty Narwhal) probably lacked the necessary driver support for the machine that I purchased in September...     I am pleased with the preformance of the Dell Inspiron Zino HD Desktop. The 19 inch Monitor is so clear and big enough to see. The Small Tower is a wander. I cant believe I can get everything plugged into It. It also has a place for Scandisk memory cards. I can upload my photos from my camera and have pictures right away.
