    The Studio XPS 8100 is Dell's second entry into the Studio XPS 8000 series of desktops, and the fourth in their Studio XPS line overall. It sits in an interesting place compared to the rest of Dell's lineup: it isn't part of the value-oriented Inspiron line, nor does it claim the flagship status of the Studio XPS 9000 and Alienware brands.     The Dell Studio XPS 8100 is a mid-range, all-purpose PC aimed at home users. It has an Intel Core i5-650 processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 1TB of hard drive space and an NVIDIA GTS 240 graphics card as standard.     This is not such a great computer. It has low value for the money and the technical support is not good. They have accented voice as if they are in India to save Dell money. It took me four calls and two hours waiting time to find out how to remove the optical disk drive. They told me to unscrew it and pull it out the front, which I could not do because of the plastic cover. They simply didn't consider this. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

    Jag har en Inspiron 8200, med VXGA skärm 1200x1600. Bra skärm, relativt tyst, bra prestanda Intel P4 2 Ghz. Plasten är litet smäckig, cdbrännaren kan hoppas loss från multibay-enheten. Vettiga snabbtangenter för volym och video. Bra grafikkort för en bärbar med Tvout simultant med den interna skärmen. Om man ofta ska bära den med sig bör man välja en mindre och lättare notebook.     This is a great system overall and I am very happy with my purchase. I'm a programmer and have worked with many computers (PC, Mac, and Unix) over the years and this one exceeded my expectations - especially with its graphics and sound abilities. Quicky, my Dell Dimension 8100 system came with: - 1.4GHz Pentium 4 - 128MB PC800 RDRAM (later expanded to 384MB only because this type of memory has gotten cheap.) - 40GB Ultra ATA HDD (7200RPM) - 12X DVD ROM Drive - 12X/8X/32X...
