The HF S21 is remarkably stable with you're filming in wide-angle or zoomed in thanks to its' excellent Powered IS mode and incredibly detailed LCD screen. The Canon HF S21 might be considered a consumer grade camcorder, but it’s more prosumer. Fortunately, the most important thing the Canon Legria HF S21 doesn't have in common with the HF S10, at launch, is price. It's still on the costly side, coming in at around a grand. But this is much closer to the competition, making the HF S21 a much keener option. Whilst we'd still opt for Panasonic's HDC-TM700 due to its exceptional manual control, thanks to its lens ring, the HF S21 comes close in most other respects. Läs mer Översätt till svenska

i'm not sure i know how to use a tenth of the functions available on this device but i have been pointing and shooting, recording videos and i am very impressed with all the output i have seen so far. the pictures are crisp and sharp and the audio on the video is pretty loud using the internal mic on the camcorder i really like the large internal flash memory and the available slot for memory expansion. I did a great deal of research before settling on the HF S21, even considered the more expensive prosumers. Having previously owned an early Sony HD model, I struggled with the lack of nightvision, as that was handy on the Sony. But my primary concerns were image quality, getting away from mini-dv tapes, and weight. I primarily use the camcorder hiking and this little thing is great! After reading many very positive reviews I purchased this camcorder to shoot HD video for my band. I am 100% pleased with my choice. This camcorder is awesome. I was amazed at how easy it was to use. I am not a fan of anything touch screen and this was no exception. The touch screen slide bar is very hard to deal with. Otherwise this camcorder is just incredible. Tons of settings and modes.
